Team Foosbot is a group of four (4) seniors at the University of Akron's College of Engineering. We are the first group to start any social media advertising in an effort to enhance our internet footprint as a group. This blog was originally made in an effort to satisfy agreements made with donors and sponsors of the project. Furthermore, this social media will allow us to look back at the work done. We plan to post detailed descriptions of the project steps as we move between milestones of the project. Posts will include pictures and perhaps video of working components or systems.
The group originally considered the automated foosball table opponent as a senior design project when Bryan (Software Manager) had a conversation about it with a group of engineers (who happen to be his roommates). The idea was a hit and everyone in the group agreed to build "Foosbot"! The roster for Team Foosbot is as follows:
Also check out some other fun projects happening in the senior design and the IEEE page. There is another team building an automated bass-playing robot that will be joining us at the RoboGames competition. Check out their blog here.
